because of kitty

a proof of concept

This is a proof of concept short I made based on a TV pilot I wrote, later turned feature, then called Because of Kitty.
Eventually I thought it was better fit for a feature film and it became what is now A Girl Named No.

A bookish teen who lives vicariously through her books reluctantly aids an old woman in tackling her "almost maybe" list,
embarking on a journey of self-discovery, navigating family challenges, love, and uncovering her hidden dreams.
